“Life is a Gift” Geneviève Gauckler Edition Print

Publik 初のLimited Edition のプリント。ジュヌビエーヴとの協同作業で実現しました。30枚限定で、すべて右下にジュヌビエーヴのサインとナンバーが入っています。

紙は、100年の耐久性と色の不変性があるといわれるフランスのArches (アルシュ) を使用。もちろんプリントにもこだわりました。浜松で edition E.D.を主宰する星野正治氏とコラボレーション。氏は、長年ロサンジェルスに在住し、その間、ジャスパー・ジョーンズ、ジム・ダイン、ロバート・ラウシェンバーグをはじめとする現代アート作家のエディションプリントやロサンジェルス現代美術館のエディションの仕事を数多く手がけた方です。もちろんプリントはすべて手刷りのシルクスクリーン印刷で星野氏のきびしい管理のもと制作されました。

These are the Pubik’s first limited edition of prints as collaborated with Geneviève. Edition of 30 and each edition is artist signed and numbered.

The French paper, Arches has high reputation as it is durable for 100 years without color change. Of course, Publik is conscious about quality of print, so Publik has worked with Masaharu Hoshino, director or Edition E.D. based in Hamamatsu. Masaharu once lived in Los Angeles and he did silk screen prints for various well-known contemporary artists for their editions including Jim Dine, Jasper Jones, Robert Rauschenberg, etc. and also worked for The Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) for exhibiting prints. Needless to say, these editions with Geneviève were hand silkscreen printed under Masaharu’s supervision and quality control.

The framed is NOT included.
