Rinzen -リンゼン
5名のメンバーからなるデザイン集団。各メンバーは、ベルリン、オーストラリアのブリスベン、メルボルン、ニューヨークと異なった都市を拠点に活動している。壁紙、テキスタイル、自転車、トイなどのデザインを手がけている。2008年には、メキシコ・シティで彼らの個展が開催され、フェルトに刺繍が施されたカバーをもつ本、「ネイバーフッド」が出版された。また、札幌ではワークショップを開催すると同時に、ミュージーックビデオのウェブサイト、Hubs TVをプロデュースしている。

Rinzen
Rinzen were grown in a petri dish containing a hybrid medium of Pantone ink, Linseed oil and Perspex glue. After prolonged exposure to vectors provoked what scientists vaguely refer to as a ‘bad trip’, they stole an idea from Surrealists and rode it over the fence to freedom.

Since then the collaborative approach of its five members has reared it’s chimeric head in designs on everything from wallpaper and fabric to bicycles and toys. Recently they’ve published a felt covered embroidered book called “Neighbourhood”, exhibited in Mexico City, conducted a workshop in Sapporo and launched music video site Hubs TV.
