Online order and purchase at the Publik’s web site is available only for Japan domestic purchase and shipping.
If you are international customers who wish to purchase and ship overseas, please follow the steps and instructions as follows.
Colors, sizes and appearance of the products shown at the Publik: web site may vary from the products delivered to you, as colors and visual appearance will vary by each computers and screens.
Before you place your order, please carefully see and confirm the Garment Size Specs in the Product category in the Publik: web site and choose right size. For all Publik:’s garments are made to Japanese sizes so they are about one size smaller than US and European sizes. So choosing one size larger than US/European sizes is suggested. For example, if you wear US/European Medium size, choosing Publik:’s Large size is suggested. No claims on sizing, exchange or refund will not be accepted for any international orders, except you wish to pay return shipping and shipping with replacing items and duties. Checking photos and size specs in the PUblik:’s web site carefully before placing order is strongly suggested.
By submitting order form, your order has not been accepted yet as there might be out of stock items. When order confirmation has been submitted to you, your order is accepted. In some cases, ordered items may be out of stock so availability of ordered items will be informed to you with order confirmation.
Publik: accepts payment only through PayPal for all international orders and there will be no exceptions. Even you don’t have PayPal account, you can complete your payment with your major credit cards in the PayPal system.
Publik: accepts only Japanese Yen (JPY) and will accepts no other currencies.
Freight and duties must be paid by customers as all prices do not include shipping. For oversea shipment, Publik: ships your orders by EMS provided by Japan Post which is the most inexpensive shipping method available and still be able to track packages. EMS shipping will take less than 7 days to be delivered to most countries except some Asian countries and middle east countries. After your order is accepted, shipping charge will be calculated and added to order confirmation and invoice. If you have an account with major courier service such as Fed-Ex, UPS, DHL etc., your order can be shipped via Freight Collect, so please let us know and provide us a name of courier and your account no. information in advance when you place order. For some items such as framed prints, there will be handling charge and its amount will be included in order confirmation and invoice.
Japan sales tax will not apply to any international sales so it will be excluded. However, there will be duties and tax when your order is imported to your country and pass through customs of your country. All duties and tax must be paid by customers as Publik: is not responsible to pay import duties and taxes. Percentage of duties and taxes vary by countries, products etc..
Publik: is not responsible for any damage or loss that has occurred while goods are being transported and delivered. By EMS shipping, insurance is included to freight for orders less than JPY 20,000-. For orders over JPY 20,000-, insurance will be calculated and added to freight and invoice by customer’s request. This request has to be made in advance when order is placed. If request has not been made, maximum insurance coverage amount will be JPY 20,000-.
No cancellation will be accepted after ordered merchandise have been dispatched and shipped out. Refusing to receive delivered merchandise will not be accepted and if delivery is refused, freight for return shipment will be charged to your credit card or PayPal account. There will be no fee if cancellation has been made and notified before orders are dispatched and shipped out.
All written claims have to be made 7 days of receipt of goods. No returns accepted without prior authorization. If incorrect goods that were not ordered or defected merchandise upon Publik:’s acknowledgement of incorrectness or defects, Publik: will replace with correct or intact merchandise. In case of a replacement of merchandise is not available, the invoice value of the incorrect or defected merchandise will be refunded. Claims have to be notified and reported by e-mail within 7 days after delivery of merchandise and no claims will be accepted after 7 days of delivery of merchandise. To submit claims, photographs of incorrect or defected items have to be e-mailed to Publik:. Publik: will not authorizeor accept claims without receipt of photographs. Claims and returns are accepted only when Publik: authorize and accept claims.
